Kreatorville love on a jewelry box...

Every girl deserves a little place to keep her jewelry, right?!

I've been waiting for the right time to finally decorate the box you see below. I picked it up at the local craft store for a couple of dollars.

And since I was in an altering mood I revamped this frame I had sitting around.

I played around with embossing powder and my chevron stamp.

Before the embossing powder completely dries from the heat gun, place your stamp over the finished product and apply pressure. I used the same technique on the jewelry box with the dot stamp I used on the next card.

I recently had the pleasure of being Boo-ed at work. Someone leaves you a goody bag and you get to pass on the random act of sweetness to someone else. I made this cute little bag just for the occasion.

P.S. This post has taken me ELEVEN hours to type because my vintage computer kept freezing up!  If you get an email or Facebook notification from Charity in a few months asking you to contribute to bail...it's because I didn't get a new one for my birthday!!!! 

Lucky for me

I can rely on Kreatorville to get me through a tough situation!!

So we were up at the farm earlier this month to celebrate my nephew's 1st birthday. On the morning of the party my sister rings me up and asks if I can possibly make her some 'name tags' for the food platters.

What?! With only hours to go? (and more relatives to visit in the meantime!)!! I thought it couldn't be done.

Lucky for me (and her!) I remembered that I had my May Kreatorville kit with me which included some perfectly bright and happy papers and some cute Aptly Titled embellishments such as those hearts you see there.

Not to mention the ultra-cool birthday cake that I was able to stick on the centrepiece like it was made especially for the occasion.
But don't you think for one moment that I didn't steal that baby back again at the end of the party!
