Sooo....

....here's the deal: when I made the decision to start on this journey, I didn't tread lightly. I prayed and asked God to lead me...I'm STILL asking God for guidance! One of the things that God told me to do was have KID KREATORS. It's not just that it's a novelty, it's also to encourage some young people to get addicted to kreating too (said while rubbing my hands together and laughing EVILLY!!) You see, we don't have a design team...we have KREATORS. The girls you'll meet over the next week are the KORE KREATORS...they'll be with me until they decide to leave. Eventually, we'll have a call for other Kreators; and I've already told you about the KONTRIBUTING KREATOR for November, Veronica Jennings. I won't be posting an interview from anyone. Instead, every one was given the same sketch. The directions were to be inspired by the sketch and to allow the journaling to let everyone know what the artist felt like sharing. I mean, we all know that Vee is a single mother to two; you all know that I have like 11 kids...just wanted to see if you were paying attention! But, we just don't want to do the same ole thing you see every where else. Hence, the sketch. It will become a permanent part of this blog and you can click on each at any time to read those interesting tidbits each Kreator decided to share. The point of all of this (there IS a method to my madness!) is to lay the groundwork for what you are about to see! I had EVERY intention today of introducing you to the first Kore Kreator. But, another thing God told me was to embrace flexibility. He told me not to let frustration guide me, instead move WITH the winds of change. When I looked at the layout from our first Kid Kreator, I was SO blown away that I HAD TO share it with you immediately! I know you're used to seeing young ladies and sometimes men who scrap but I BET you've never encountered one like this! Her awesomeness is SO apparent as soon as you look at her work! You can SEE the time and effort which goes into each of her projects. She didn't just slap her name down on the page...she STITCHED IT!!!! She didn't just glue journaling strips in place...she inked each one first!!! I could go on and on AND ON about her but I don't want to keep teasing you with how amazing she is, so without further adieu, meet my niece, Christina:
OH! By the way...did I mention that she's SEVEN?!?!?

That's my girl up there!!!!!! I'm one proud mama right now. Well actually I'm always proud, but right now ... I can't even begin to describe it! I feel so blessed that we are able to share this wonderful hobby. We get to spend time together doing something we both love ... I can only hope her interest in scrapping (and working alongside her mama) will last ...
Oh, btw ... she's gonna love that introduction auntie Keandra, especially the niece part!!!! LOL

Love to you and yours my sweets
