What's a girl to do ...

when you really really love a certain patterned paper, which you think would go with your pictures perfectly, but the colours don't match??? Well, you get kreative of course! That's what I love about working with kits, especially when you try to work exclusively with kit components ... sometimes you just have to think outside the box!

After colouring the patterned paper with my watercolour paints, I loved it so much I decided not to add too many embellies. And let's be honest here, whenever you use one of Keandra's titles, who needs embellies! They are always such a main feature, such an eye-catcher, the page feels finished just by adding one! However, I couldn't resist using the Making Memories mini alphas again, I so love them, for me they're the best thing in the kit!

Which item is your favorite?

{for my amore'...}

Nothing says I love you like an altered charger plate.

Yes, it's after Valentine's Day. But did you ever stop to think Cupid gets a bum wrap? Switch the "Love you" on the plate and add "Mr. & Mrs." and Cupid's a hero! Someones wedding will be right around the corner and a $1.98 charger plate and your Kreatorville Kraft kit could save the day!

I don't know how Keandra does it, but her handmade titles and embellishments are First Class! They're already pretty enough for me, I almost hate adding anything extra~ even though you can alter the pieces any way you like. But I added the Making Memories glitter paint to the heart and the arrow head. Then I added the rhinestones from the Making Memories "Love You" embellishment.

Monkeyboy wanted to watch a movie with me while he played with my glimmer mist in his new art journal and I finished this charger plate in the time it took us to watch Harry Potter and the Half Blood Prince with one potty break! You do the math.....better yet let's see what kind of altered item you can come up with using this month's kit and your Aptly Titled pieces!

Love is...

...working with the February Kreatorville kit! I instantly fell in love with that background paper, and knew I wanted to make it into a main feature of the page. So after adhering everything to the page, I highlighted some of the circles with a black marker and I added some bling (Making Memories Tickled Pink) to each highlighted circle. The effect IRL is gorgeous. I added a close-up to give you a better look. The frame was made out of the backing of the Jennibowlin buttons, and IRL this adds a nice dimension. Both alphas in the kit coordinate beautifully and look gorgeous put upon the Jenni Bowlin stickers. This page has been made exclusively with February kit products...let's see what YOU kreate with your Kreatorville kit!!
