March Madness!

Hey there, Charity here.
Happy Spring everyone!
Aren't you enjoying the March reveal?!
I know I am!
Let's start with some show and tell.

This last 8 1/2x11 double layout was made using only my scissors! It's a challenge I took on over at 2peas...no paper trimmer, no punches, only your hand scissors. You should try it. It really makes you think about what your creating. I knew what I was going to try and pull off when I decided on the photos though. And I'm loving the banner trend~ so this was a great photo to use!

I still have a mini to share with you! Come back soon to see what I've created and a little tutorial on stitching pockets.

Did you hear what happened...

...to the postman in Belgium??? Well, OBVIOUSLY he was FINALLY fired because for years, instead of delivering packages, he was throwing them in the dumpster! He didn't have time to deliver mail AND smoke weed, did he??? Naw, I made that up but something's OBVIOUSLY wrong with our Peggy's mailman! Jenneke and Peggy are neighbors; their kits were shipped at the SAME time. Jenneke has had her package for a couple of weeks; Peg's kit must be in the DUMPSTER somewhere!!! It doesn't matter, though, because A. WHENEVER she gets her kit she'll ROCK it and B. We STILL have some fabulous February projects from Pegs to share...here's one NOW!!!
I LOVE the idea of having something which won't be locked away in an album; Pegs will have this out ALL the time to record her fave quotes (unless she decides to send this to ME!!!) LOVE the paper combo (I REALLY have to start paying more attention to that other side!)
I'll be back soon with a treat. And by the way, if your overseas and you know Peggy's postman...get him some HELP!!!!

Another quick share from Charity...

...using the February Kreatorville kit:
They say that February is the month of flowers and candy. And looking back at my photos from the month, I sure have accumulated a lot of flower and candy pictures! I had forgotten how much I love to stitch my layouts and ended up stitching four out of five layouts from this months kit!
I was drooling over this Sassafras paper as soon as I saw it. I love how they incorporate borders on the end of the 12x12 paper. And this layout is another example of Kreatorville Kraft's Kool Kolor scheme choices. In another scrappy session I may not have paired pink, red and blue together. But here I LOVE how they mesh on this project.
My teenager went on her first date Valentines Day weekend! She came home with these lovely roses. And I wanted to journal all my Mom feelings on this page but I didn't want them exposed, so I created a little hidden journaling tab. I want her to remember how hard it was to let her go and how much I want her to enjoy her teenage years all at the same time. So my letter will be tucked away for later.
And I know our dear Keandra doesn't shun a good 8 1/2 x 11 page.......I threw my hat into that arena this month. I love this size format! OK..... I love any size format when it comes to scrapbooking and papercrafting! But I also love it when elements sort of fall off the page too and this size is perfect for that without worrying about being able to put it in a page protector.

xoxo,
Charity

By the way, we're featured on ScrapScene today...the only kit klub featured on a MONDAY...maybe it has something to do with our cute leprechaun embellishment?!? Check it out here!!!
